Spending money somehow calms me when I am broke. Student loan re-payment so soon & no chance of going full-time at the museum - can't live off p-t work & need a new job - - and yet...all i want to do is buy vintage finds all the time. They make me feel clever and nostalgic and accomplished.

I'm definitely starting to be obsessed with movies set in the 80s too (Adventureland, 200 Cigarettes, Wet Hot American Summer, Adventures of Sebastian Cole, Son of Rambow, The Squid and the Whale - but its not as acute (yet).
